Tire Repair & Service

Puncture assessment, rotations, balancing, replacement, pressure and TPMS service, and diagnosis of uneven wear or vibration.

The short answer

A tire can be repaired only when the damage location, size, internal condition, tread, and prior low-pressure operation meet safe repair criteria. Sidewall damage, exposed cords, severe cracking, or a tire that was driven flat generally requires replacement rather than a plug.

How Aspen approaches tire repair & service

Aspen evaluates the entire tire and related wheel condition instead of treating only the visible puncture. The inspection includes tread, pressure, wear pattern, age indicators, sidewall and internal damage when removed, wheel condition, and whether alignment or suspension may be contributing. Colorado traction requirements and the driver's actual route also matter when replacement is considered.

Signs this service may be relevant

Symptoms identify where testing should begin; they do not prove which part has failed.

Low-pressure or TPMS warning
Slow leak or repeated need to add air
Vibration that changes with speed
Uneven, cupped, or rapid tread wear
Pulling, wandering, or reduced wet/snow traction
Visible puncture, sidewall damage, bulge, cracking, or exposed cords

Stop and get guidance when:

  • A bulge, exposed cord, separated tread, or major sidewall cut
  • Rapid pressure loss or a tire that will not hold air
  • Severe vibration, wobble, or impact damage
  • The tire was driven while flat or nearly flat

When safe operation is uncertain, do not rely on a webpage to make the drive/no-drive decision. Call the selected shop or arrange towing.

Evidence before parts

What the diagnostic process looks like

01

Inspect the tire and wheel

Pressure, tread, damage, age indicators, wear pattern, and wheel condition are checked; punctures are assessed internally when repair is considered.

02

Find the reason for wear or vibration

Balance, alignment, suspension, inflation, rotation history, and road damage are considered where relevant.

03

Match the solution to use

Repair, rotation, balance, alignment referral or service, and replacement options are explained for the vehicle and Colorado driving needs.

Service scope

Pricing and estimates

What changes the price?

Tire-service prices depend on whether the tire is safely repairable, wheel size, tire construction and rating, TPMS needs, balancing, alignment, and replacement choice. Aspen inspects damage before promising a repair and provides options matched to the vehicle and use.

  • Repair versus replacement eligibility
  • Tire size, load, speed, run-flat, or specialty specification
  • Number of tires and matching requirements
  • TPMS sensor or valve service
  • Balancing, alignment, wheel, or suspension involvement
Aspen does not publish a false one-price-fits-all number. The shop identifies the vehicle and scope, then provides the applicable estimate before unapproved work begins. Warranty coverage is controlled by the current published warranty terms.

Appointment planning

How long might it take?

A common puncture assessment, repair, rotation, or balance may fit within a normal appointment. Tire sourcing, alignment, wheel damage, or suspension diagnosis can extend the visit.

  • Need to remove the tire for internal inspection
  • Number and type of tires
  • TPMS relearn or sensor service
  • Alignment, wheel, or suspension diagnosis
